Our Carnival Parade
In 2016, the festival committee decided that we needed some additional events within the town which involve the entire community, especially our youth. The Patatfees Carnival was born!
It’s truly amazing to see how motivated and talented some of our youth are. Taking to the streets with carefully rehearsed and elaborate dance moves, kids of all ages perform as Drum Majorettes and Cheer-leaders, whirling their batons. It’s not just the children who get in on the act, animals do too! We evidently have particularly exotic breeds of dog in this corner of the world, who simply adore the attention and love being dressed up, along with their owners to take part in the parade.
