Our partners, SMF Events, are adept at designing all sorts of levels of enjoyable MTB races, half marathons and trail runs for the novice and seasoned athletes.
MTB, HALF MARATHON, TRAIL RUN
Saturday, 13 June
For those who are up for the challenge and prefer pedal power, there are 55K, 45k, 30k and 15K MTB races and for others who rely solely on their two feet to get them from A-B, there is a Trail Run & there are 21K, 10K and 4K fun-runs to navigate. And don’t forget our Trail Run boasting gorgeous single track with distances 18km, 14km & 8km. These routes have been designed to take you through some of the loveliest scenery in the Overberg. So much to choose from!

Registrations open again from 6am for MTB and Half Marathons in the main hall at the Skill’s school. Late registrations for the main MTB races & marathons will be open at the skills school on the Friday afternoon from 4pm – 8pm in the Library. Be sure to get a good night’s rest for the fun the next day.
The prizes alone are worth entering for! R100K worth of Lucky Draw prizes are up for grabs this year!
With so much interest in the Paralympics, we have also designed a Wheel Chair Race and for any Mum’s or Dad’s with toddlers, we end the day’s races at noon with the cutest race of all, the Nappy Dash!
So after you receive your medal, go and explore the village and don’t forget the carnival and concert on Saturday night!

SAPS Youth Day Fun Run
YOUTH DAY SAPS FUN RUN & PARTY: FRIDAY 12 June
At 4pm join us for the SAPS Youth Day 3km Fun Run! All kids 18 years old and under get a FREE entry! All ages welcome, any adults aged 19 or older will pay a R20 entry fee. All proceeds go towards the Microbus Fund for the Protea School.
